The Tech Genius

GST-registered in India since 2023 · Working across 8 markets

We make magical wands of automation.

We build the website, win the search, and ship the software behind it.

The website is the start. From there it goes into search, into automation, into the software your business actually runs on — and we ship our own products, so your build rests on systems already in daily use.

Or message us on WhatsApp — usually a reply the same day.

What we do

Everything between an idea and a working system

Seven services, one team, one invoice: a web design company, SEO services and a custom software development company under one roof — the digital marketing agency and the software team in the same room. Start with the website — most clients do — and add the rest when it earns its place.

Every number here is the number — the same one you’d get on a call, published so you can plan around it before you ever speak to us.

Four businesses we run on the software we sell

Every one of these is live and ours. Open them, buy from them, judge us on them.

  • Our perfume brand

    Attardaan India

A live direct-to-consumer store we built and run — custom Shopify theme, a repeatable product-imagery pipeline, cash on delivery with OTP verification, and WhatsApp as the main customer channel. It trades every day.

  • Our hotel

    Hotel Mahamaya

A working hotel owned by our founder, running on a property management system we wrote. Bookings, WhatsApp enquiries and automated review responses — all used in daily operations before any of it went into a product.

  • Our electronics business

    Tech Depot India

Components and devices sold from a catalogue we built and operate, where buyers filter hard on specification and a wrong figure is a returned order. It is the counterpart to the perfume brand: same underlying system, a buyer who reads datasheets.

  • Our 27-acre lake development

    Lake Nectar

A 27-acre property built around a five-acre lake, trading as a destination wedding venue while the wider development takes shape. We own it, we market it, and it runs on the same hospitality systems we sell.

Eight industries, one stack underneath

A marketing background meant building across categories from the start — and the patterns transfer. Ecommerce is the deepest bench, and the same stack runs a gym, a hotel and a hardware distributor.

How it goes

Five steps, and you can see all of them coming

  1. 01

You run the free website grader

Paste your URL. Get a scored report, free, in minutes.

Before anyone talks about a build, see where your site actually stands. The report is yours to keep and act on — with us, with someone else, or on your own.

    Run the free grader
  2. 02

    You see what's actually broken

A short paid audit, written down, yours to keep.

Most people arrive asking for one thing and needing another. Before anyone talks about a build, we look at what you already have — the site, the search visibility, the manual work eating your week — and write down what we find. You keep that document either way.

  3. 03

You get a scope in plain English

Fixed scope, fixed price, a real date.

A written scope you can actually read, a number, and a delivery date. The estimate is ours to stand behind, so the final invoice matches the first one.

  4. 04

    You watch it being built

A live link every week, from week one.

Every week there is a live link showing exactly where things are. You catch a wrong assumption in week two instead of week ten, which is the single biggest reason projects go sideways.

  5. 05

You own everything at the end

Your code, your accounts, your data, documented.

Repositories, hosting, domain and analytics in your name from day one. A written handover so another developer could pick it up tomorrow — you keep the code, the hosting and the domain whatever you decide next.

For agencies

Sell it. We’ll build it. Your name on the work.

White-label websites, SEO and software for marketing agencies. You keep the client relationship and typically 55–65% of the margin. We stay off your client calls unless you want us on them.

Non-circumvention signed before we see a client name — and the contract is the smaller reason. Partner work is repeat revenue from someone who already trusts us. One stolen client ends that permanently.

Questions people actually ask

Where are you based, and does that matter?

An Indian company, registered as THE TECH GENIUS DIGITAL MARKETING STORE and GST-registered from day one, working with clients across India, the US, UK, Canada, the UAE and Europe. The full registration details are in the site footer and on the About page, so you can verify the company on the government portal before you send anyone money. Being India-based is also why you get senior work at a fraction of Western agency rates — a different cost base, the same standard.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on scope, but we publish real starting points rather than hiding behind a quote form. Most business websites land between ₹80,000 – ₹3,00,000 in India, or $350 – $4,500 in the United States — each market has its own price list rather than one price run through a currency converter, and the pricing page shows yours once you pick your country. Ecommerce and custom software cost more. You get the number before you commit, and a straight answer if a smaller job would serve you better.

Can you work as a white-label partner for my agency?

Yes, by design. You get the build under your brand, the option of keeping us off client calls, and signed non-circumvention terms. Agencies typically keep 55–65% margin on the work. See the partners page for how it works.

Do you actually build software, or just websites?

Both. We ship our own products — Relaywave for enterprise WhatsApp automation, Roomline for hotels, Storeline for D2C brands and Dealerline for dealer-supplied storefronts — alongside custom builds for clients. Very few full-service agencies ship real software of their own. That is the difference we would ask you to judge us on.

How long does it take to see SEO results?

On a brand-new domain, realistically four to six months for first movement and six to twelve months for compounding traffic. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either misleading you or churning through clients. We will show you the plan and the honest timeline before you sign anything.

How do we pay you from outside India?

In your own currency, to local account details in your own country. We invoice in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AED or INR and collect through licensed cross-border payment providers, so for you it is a domestic transfer rather than an international wire. We are a registered Indian exporter, so international invoices are zero-rated exports of services and your invoice is free of Indian GST. The schedule is 40% to start, 40% at a midpoint you sign off, and 20% on handover, with invoices payable within 14 days.

What happens to our data, and to our customers' data?

The data processing agreement is published in full on this site, ready before you ask. In short: you are the controller and we are the processor, every sub-processor is named on that page, and transfers to India run under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You hear about any breach affecting your data within 48 hours. The same page also states that we are yet to be audited against ISO 27001 or SOC 2, so your procurement team knows where things stand before the first call.

What if the project goes wrong?

Three things are already written into how we work, so your protection is contractual rather than goodwill. Defects reported within 30 days of handover are fixed free. Larger builds are scoped in phases, so you can stop after phase one, keep everything built and paid for, and owe nothing further. And either side can end an engagement on 30 days' written notice, at which point you pay for the work completed and we hand over the completed deliverables — the code, hosting, domain and analytics are in your name throughout, so everything is already yours. The one thing outside anyone's control is a commercial outcome — rankings, traffic, revenue — so what we guarantee is the work and the reporting, and anyone offering more is guessing.

One call. A real number.

Describe the problem on one call and you leave with what it takes to fix — and roughly what it costs — before you commit to anything.
